Lord Shiva while in penance and has given his powers to the various planets or Grahas irrevocably and will not and cannot withdraw back the powers thus given.

Each of the Grahas act in their own manner according to the birth stars of the person. Some of the Grahas are rough and adamant and some of the Grahas are very supportive and some act like a judge.

Anyone can say that his /her time is bad or he/she is having a good time, this invariably relates to the Grahas either supporting the person or going against the person. There is an astrological study available in the internet as well as in the form of an undergraduate and post graduate studies, which will show the Grahas going against the person or in favor of the person in any fields connected with health, wealth, business, peace in the family, peace of mind, marriage life, education and what not.

Grahas or planetary gods will have to be identified by the devotee according to the time of birth charts and stars and then the appropriate prayers performed to avoid or reduce the problems created by them or increase the benefits that may arise through them. These identifications of Grahas are done through astrology study.

The Graha that is identified as a danger will only be for a particular period of six to twelve years and will then fade out and be neutral for the next term. During the danger period the harmful effects can be minimized by praying and or performing special poojas for that particular Graha God.

Please note that performing Navagraha poojas of all the nine planetary gods together will not solve the problem and may on the contrary increase the problem as the Graha god under question gets annoyed of not giving particular importance to him.

Hence prayers must be performed only individually to the Graha god that is currently playing with your life.
